Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving growth by identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with potential clients. You will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and nurturing them through the sales pipeline. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong sales acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and identify potential clients through research, networking, and cold calling.
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to determine their fit for our products or services.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations.
- Conduct introductory meetings and product demonstrations to educate prospects about our offerings.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for engaging and converting leads into customers.
- Track and report on sales activities and performance metrics using CRM software.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Continuously improve sales techniques and processes to optimize lead generation and conversion rates.

Led teams in setting meetings that converted to Sales Accepted Leads (SAL), completed demos, and ultimately booked ARR

Maintained consistent top performance month over month relative to peers in BDR / SDR function

Ideally has experience identifying, targeting, and generating new deals in the $25-50k ACV range in Gov Tech.
