Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T0616) rting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $15.50 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to solve their specific needs and resolve guest concerns.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve the guest experience.
• Promote and explain the benefits, offerings, and services; assist with loyalty program enrollment as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Explain and demonstrate features of the Target App (including Wallet), and guide guests on Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering.
• Assist with returns following store policies; escalate to Leaders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area; stock supplies during store hours as needed.
• Operate in a safe manner and comply with safety policies, reporting hazards as appropriate.
• Support guest services such as order pickup, drive-up orders, drive-up returns, and compliance with applicable laws.
• Perform other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks within time frames.
• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office tasks as needed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally; flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
