FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)
Location:
McLaren Greater Lansing, 2900 Collins, Lansing, MI 48910. Online applications accepted only.
Schedule:
Full‑time, Monday‑Friday rotating weekends and holidays. Hours may vary. Details provided during interview.
Fixed Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour.
Job SummaryPrepares, presents, and serves food as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
- Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
- Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
- Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
- Clean work areas, equipment and utensils.
- Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
- Utilize approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and portion control.
- Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
- Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory and cash control procedures.
- Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
One year of customer service experience preferred.
