Opportunity Details

    4 10-hour shifts per week, 1 weekend per month

Requirements:

  • OR First Assist experience required
  • Board Certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • State of Michigan License
  • Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
  • BLS certification required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Surgical First Assist, including Assisting in the OR and pre/post op follow up as needed.
  • Hospital Rounding, including at least one weekend a month
  • Clinic schedule (when provider on vacation or not in the OR)
  • In-basket messaging and medication renewals.
