Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide independent anesthesia coverage at an Endoscopy Center from January 2026 through Summer 2026. The ideal candidate will be comfortable practicing autonomously, managing 10-16 cases daily, primarily involving MAC anesthesia for adult and geriatric patients. This position plays a critical role in delivering safe, efficient anesthesia care in a dedicated, non-trauma setting, utilizing EPIC EMR documentation.

The successful CRNA will collaborate with a dedicated support staff and work independently in a fast-paced environment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Skills:

• Valid CA RN license and current CRNA certification
• Proven experience providing MAC anesthesia, especially in endoscopy or outpatient settings
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong knowledge of anesthesia procedures specific to endoscopy including EGD, colonoscopy, and combined procedures
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Reliable and detail-oriented with a focus on patient safety

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Previous locum or temporary staffing experience
• Familiarity with billing for mileage and reimbursements
• Ability to adapt to different practice environments

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master’s or higher degree in Nursing Anesthesia
• At least 2 years of clinical experience as a CRNA, preferably in outpatient or endoscopy settings

Other Requirements:

• Credentialing timeframe estimated at 60-120 days
• Travel and licensure reimbursements as applicable
• Flexibility to start on January 1, 2026
• Willingness to bill mileage at IRS standard rates and adhere to facility policies

compensation is offered at $187.60 per hour, with an estimated start date of January 1, 2026. Orientation is provided at half the hourly rate, and additional reimbursements for travel and licensure are available.
