Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

• 3 years of experience required, first time travelers accepted

• On-call required: 1 week at a time rotating with all other CVT nurses (currently every 6 weeks)

• Weekend requirements for call coverage only

• Float to other specialties when no CVT cases are available

• Required certifications: BLS (AHA preferred)

• Michigan RN license required (must be active by start date, compact license not accepted)

• CNOR certification preferred

• Work in CVOR, General OR, Hybrid OR, and Trauma settings

• Patient ratio of 1:1 across all shifts

• 72 hours of orientation provided

• EPIC experience preferred with training completed during orientation

• Must provide proof of high school level education

• 5 day maximum RTO policy per contract

• Complete pre-start modules (non-billable, self-reported)

• Care for adult patients in 20-room/20-bed unit

• Extensive skills required including cardiovascular surgery, endoscopic procedures, trauma care, and various surgical specialties

The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes modern technology including robotic surgery systems and advanced monitoring equipment to support complex cardiovascular and surgical procedures.
