• Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license by start date (pending license accepted if active by start)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required (2 years preferred)
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation experience required
• EPIC electronic medical record charting experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred)
• Ability to float to all adult acute care units, including stepdown
• Willingness to work 3 weekends per 4-week schedule
• Proof of high school education required

• Deliver direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations in Med/Surg Telemetry units
• Float to various adult acute care and stepdown units as needed
• Monitor and manage telemetry patients, including dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, Pharmacy, etc.)
• Utilize EPIC for accurate charting and documentation
• Administer medications, manage central and peripheral lines, and perform wound care
• Care for patients with diverse diagnoses: cardiac, orthopedic, trauma, stroke, oncology, surgical, and behavioral health
• Participate in rapid response and code situations as required
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards
