Key Responsibilities- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding specifications to determine layout and procedures.
- Operate various welding equipment (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) to join metal components and fabricate structures.
- Inspect finished welds for quality, strength, and compliance with specifications using precision measuring instruments.
- Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, grinding, and cutting to ensure proper fit and adhesion.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, procedures, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Fabricate and assemble metal parts and products according to design requirements and production schedules.
- Proficiency in multiple welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) relevant to manufacturing.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of welding metallurgy and material properties.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform tasks in various positions and lift materials.
- AWS D1.1 or other advanced welding certifications
- Proficiency in multiple welding processes (e.g., TIG, MIG, Stick)
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and schematics
- Experience with robotic or automated welding systems
- Basic fabrication skills (cutting, grinding, fitting)
