Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce precision parts, configuring work pieces efficiently while meeting specified tolerances.;
Write, test, and revise CNC programs to control contour-path machining, compute dimensions and cutting sequences, and determine tool selection and machine speeds.;
Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and design data to determine machining processes based on part specifications and machine capabilities.;
Perform in-process quality checks using inspection tools, complete quality paperwork, and ensure parts meet engineered specifications.;
Write technical documents such as instruction sheets and cutter lists to guide setup and operation.
