We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to provide leadership and oversight for high-visibility strategic programs. This role involves managing complex, large-scale projects that require coordination across diverse stakeholder groups, vendor management, and integration with multiple systems. The ideal candidate will manage projects with high accountability, ensuring all deliverables meet executive-level expectations regarding budget, quality, and schedule.

• Project Governance:
  Establish and monitor controlling methods to track changes in project cost, quality, and schedule.
• Strategic Planning:
  Lead planning, staffing, and reporting activities across the entire project lifecycle—from initiation to closeout.
• Team Leadership:
  Direct day-to-day activities and tasks for project teams (often 50+ members) within a matrix organization.
• Methodology Adherence:
  Ensure all project activities align with established organizational project management methodologies (SUITE) and prioritization processes.
• Executive Communication:
  Facilitate working sessions, build consensus, and elevate risks or issues to executive leadership as necessary.

• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 5 years of project management experience is strongly preferred.
• Technical Knowledge:
  Proficiency in data infrastructure and data governance basics.
• Systems Development:
  Thorough understanding of system development methods for new implementations and enhancements.
• Communication:
  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are mandatory for success in this role.
• Government Sector:
  Previous experience working within government agencies is a significant plus.
• Versatility:
  Experience in multiple roles (e.g., Program Manager, Coordinator, or Executive) is highly valued.

  Must be available to work onsite in Lansing every Tuesday and Wednesday from day one. (No fully remote option).
