Job Overview
Operations Supervisor – Lansing, MI – Oversee delivery drivers and warehouse workers in a distribution center handling ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts.
Shift and Schedule5:00 am until finished – Monday to Friday – Flexibility to work weekends as needed is required.
Responsibilities- Direction, coordination and evaluation of all warehouse/distribution activities for assigned warehouse workers, loaders and drivers/routes.
- Ensure proper execution and implementation of all policies and procedures for picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory management, and distribution.
- Supervise a team of delivery drivers, warehouse workers and loaders.
- Ensure accurate deliveries and excellent customer service.
- Train and evaluate warehouse staff on effective inventory techniques and daily tasks.
- Supervise planning and scheduling of company transport vehicles to maximize revenue opportunities and minimize downtime and excessive overtime.
- Monitor team to ensure vehicles and other equipment are well maintained and related repairs and safety issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels of full goods to fulfill daily sales needs.
- Conduct physical counts of inventory and reconcile floor counts and inventory shipments.
- Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies, and procedures of the Company and standards established by OSHA, FDA and DOT.
- $70,500 – $85,000 per year
- Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors

- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience in a warehouse/distribution center
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP preferred
