We are seeking a Senior Consultant to lead and manage the Navista application portfolio. This role will oversee a broad set of applications, providing end-to-end visibility into Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), supporting application integrations, and driving the stabilization and growth of Navista applications. The consultant will also champion transformation initiatives with a long-term view aligned to the MSO business strategy.
ResponsibilitiesLead the management and optimization of 150+ Ion legacy applications and Navista technology solutions, serving as the strategic and technical point of contact across the application portfolio.
Develop TCO and Renewal and Maintenance (R&M) cost models for Practices, Navista, and MSO; provide financial insights and strategic guidance to leadership and the Finance team.
Manage vendor contracts, licensing, and negotiations in collaboration with the Procurement team.
Coordinate procurement activities, including RFPs and ARBs, and support the operationalization of selected solutions.
Partner with Finance to forecast costs and align technology investments with business priorities.
Act as the primary contact for the application portfolio, supporting licensing, procurement, forecasting, and vendor engagement.
Design and implement the Tier 4 application support framework across all Navista applications.
Drive application portfolio initiatives, including consolidation, rationalization, and transformation projects.
Facilitate discovery workshops and design sessions to align system capabilities and ensure interoperability.
Serve as a Technology Solution Owner for application buy, build, or integration efforts, working closely with Product, Data, Tech, and Service Ops teams.
8-12 years of experience in application portfolio/program management, enterprise systems, and operational excellence methodologies, preferred
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
Experience in MSO (Management Services Organization) environments or healthcare technology is highly preferred
Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles and IT governance frameworks.
Proven expertise in managing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and aligning technology investments with business objectives.
Strong understanding of application lifecycle management, including integration, support, and transformation initiatives.
Experience working with cross-functional teams across product, technology, finance, and operations.
Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale application consolidation, rationalization, or modernization projects.
Excellent vendor management skills, including contract negotiation, licensing, and procurement processes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects
Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals
Recommends new practices, processes, metrics, or models
Works on or may lead complex projects of large scope
Projects may have significant and long-term impact

Anticipated salary range: $123,400 - $176,300
