The Business Process Reengineering Specialist (BPRS) will support an upcoming IT initiative with a primary focus on business requirements gathering and process analysis. Approximately 75% of the role will focus on requirements gathering, while 25% will involve creating and tailoring reference materials, templates, and guidance for Business Analysts (BA), Quality Assurance (QA) roles, and Business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
This role will help drive consistency and alignment across business, technical teams, and the Project Management Office, while also supporting production support activities through effective backlog and user story management in Azure Dev Ops.

Translate business needs into functional requirements for technical and non-technical audiences - Develop and maintain Agile backlogs, user stories, and work items in Azure Dev Ops
- Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize backlog items throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide training, coaching, and shadowing to BA, QA, and SME resources
- Customize and enhance existing standards, policies, procedures, and templates to meet business needs
- Support Agile delivery teams by providing context and best practices for Azure Dev Ops usage
- Monitor scope and requirements to ensure alignment with project objectives
- Ensure stakeholder engagement and alignment with information governance and data requirements
- Assist with Build vs. Buy analysis and decision-making
- Assess and communicate impacts of scope or requirement changes
- Ensure required project deliverables are completed, reviewed, and approved per defined processes
- Work closely with UI/UX designers, solution architects, developers, database administrators, and QA teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements and solution design
- Strong experience in business process analysis and reengineering
- Proven experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
- Hands-on experience working in Agile environments
- Experience managing backlogs, user stories, and work items in Azure Dev Ops
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to train, mentor, and guide BA/QA resources and business SMEs
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale IT initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
