Field Engineer

Job Title: Field Engineer 4

Lansing, MI

• Perform on-site break/fix services for laptops and desktops in the assigned metro area.
• Replace hardware components including:
  • Hard drives
  • Motherboards
  • Keyboards
  • LCD screens
• Perform whole-unit swaps and peripheral replacements
• Diagnose and resolve basic to non-complex hardware/software issues
• Close service tickets in real time using the Client Call Management System via company-provided mobile device
• Travel daily to multiple customer locations

• Must have own reliable car and valid car insurance
• Minimum 1+ year of hands-on laptop and desktop break/fix experience
• Experience diagnosing Dell laptops and PCs
• Computer-building background preferred
• General knowledge of:
  • Desktop/laptop hardware
  • Windows OS

  • Basic Microsoft applications
• Ability to follow directed troubleshooting procedures
• Client and/or government clearance may be required
• Police or criminal background verification may be required

• Candidates are not paid for travel from home to first work location or骗last location back home.
• All mileage during the workday is reimbursed per Client standard mileage policy.
• Extensive driving is required (2-3 hours at times).

• Must complete required product training
• Must pass drug screening and background check
• Must comply with business casual dress code at all times
