Job Details:

• Will be primarily assigned to behavioral health unit within the emergency department

• Work 3 weekends (Friday-Sunday) per 4-week schedule, may work 1-3 days of each weekend

• Patient ratios typically 1:5-6, can reach up to 1:8 during high census or holidays

• Float to Pediatric Emergency Department when necessary

• No on-call responsibilities

• 36 hours of orientation required

• Must complete 5 hours of non-billable modules before starting

• Work in Level I Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center, and Pediatric Emergency Department

• Daily census of 250 patients with 100-bed capacity

• Care for all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Required certifications: MI state license, ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC, NIH

• Preferred certifications: ENPC

• Minimum 2 years experience required with Level I trauma experience mandatory

• EPIC charting experience required

• Must have experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

Preferred experience:

continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation administration, and triage

• All certifications must be active by start date and cannot pend beyond contract start

• Maximum 5-day RTO policy per contract, all time off must be submitted at time of application

• No RTO allowed from 3/27-4/12

• First-time travelers accepted
