Job Details:

• Will be assigned in behavioral health most of the time

• Work 3 weekends (Fri-Sun) per 4 week schedule - may work 1, 2, or all 3 days of the weekend

• Floating required to Pediatrics Emergency Department if necessary

• No on-call responsibilities

• Patient ratios:
Days 1:5-6, Nights 1:6, can be up to 1:8 depending on patient volume and holidays

• Care for patients of all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics

• Daily census of 250 patients with 100 beds available

• 36 hours of orientation required with non-billable modules (5 hours)

• Required certifications:
State license, ACLS, BCLS by AHA, PALS, TNCC, NIH

• Preferred certification: ENPC

• 2 years minimum experience required

• Level I trauma experience required

• EPIC charting experience required

• Travel experience required

• Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required

Preferred experience:

continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation administration, triage experience

• Michigan license must be active by start date (compact license not accepted)

• Maximum 5 days RTO per contract, must be submitted at time of submission

• No RTO allowed from 3/27-4/12

• Unit accepts first-time travelers
