Job Details:

• Level I trauma center emergency department position

• Weekend requirements: 3 weekends (Friday-Sunday) per 4 week schedule

• Patient ratios range from 1:5-6, potentially up to 1:8 during high volume periods and holidays

• Floating required to Pediatric ED if necessary

• No on-call requirements

• Care for all age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics

• Daily census of 250 patients with 100 beds

• Required certifications:
State license, ACLS, BCLS by AHA, PALS, TNCC, ENPC (preferred), NIH

• Minimum 2 years experience required with Level I trauma experience mandatory

• EPIC charting experience required

• Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required

• Continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration experience preferred

• Triage experience preferred

• Unit accepts first-time travelers

• 36 hours of orientation required

• 5 hours of non-billable modules must be completed pre-start

• Michigan license must be active by start date (compact license not accepted)

• All RTO must be submitted at time of submittal with 5 day maximum per contract
