Job Details:

• Work in Level I Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center and Pediatric Emergency Department

• Patient ratios range from 1:5-6, potentially up to 1:8 during high census periods and holidays

• Weekend requirement: 3 weekends (Friday-Sunday) per 4-week schedule

• May be scheduled to work 1, 2, or all 3 days of the weekend

• Floating required to Pediatrics ED if necessary

• No on-call responsibilities

• Care for patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Daily census approximately 250 patients with 100 beds available

• Must have minimum 2 years experience and Level I trauma experience required

• Required certifications:
State license, ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC, NIH

• Preferred certification: ENPC

• EPIC charting experience required

• Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required

• Preferred experience with continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation administration, and triage

• Must complete 36 hours of orientation and non-billable modules before working

• Michigan license must be active by start date (compact license not accepted)

• Maximum 5 days RTO per contract, must be submitted at time of submission

• No RTO allowed from 3/27-4/12

• Unit accepts first-time travelers
