Job Description

General Purpose of Job:

The Senior Clinical Informatics Analyst oversees clinical informatics architecture, ensuring alignment with clinical goals and regulatory standards. This role emphasizes strategic planning, data governance, and optimizing informatics processes to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Design and oversee clinical informatics architecture, aligning it with organizational and clinical goals.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues, implementing long-term solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior clinical leadership to support resource planning and informatics strategies.
  • Lead initiatives to improve clinical data integrity, performance, and security.
Qualifications
  • General Requirements:
    None
  • Work Experience:

    Must be highly proficient in clinical informatics, with experience in strategic planning
  • Education:

    Required:

    High school diploma and a minimum of 9 years of clinical informatics experience OR Associates degree in computer science, IT or related field with a minimum of 7 years of clinical informatics experience OR Bachelors degree in computer science, IT or related field with a minimum of 5 years of clinical informatics experience
  • Specialized Knowledge and

    Skills:

    Expert-level knowledge of clinical informatics, data governance, and workflow optimization; strategic planning and project management skills; familiarity with healthcare compliance and standards in clinical data management
