Job Title:

Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room – Night Shift

Night Shift – 3x12-hour shifts
Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Emergency Room (ER)

• Level I Trauma Center
• Certified Stroke Center, Heart Center, and Pediatric Emergency Department
• RN will be assigned primarily to Behavioral Health patients
• High-acuity, fast-paced environment with high patient ratios

• Typical ratios 1:5–6
• May increase to up to 1:8 depending on volume and holidays
• Traveler acknowledgment of high ratios required

• Weekends Required:
  • 3 weekends (Fri–Sun) per 4-week schedule
  • May be scheduled for 1, 2, or all 3 days
• On-Call: No
• Floating: Yes – Pediatrics possible

• Active State RN License
• ACLS
• BCLS (AHA)
• PALS
• TNCC
• NIH Stroke Scale
• ENPC – Preferred

• Minimum 2 years ER experience – REQUIRED
• Level I Trauma experience – REQUIRED
• Interpretation and management of cardiac dysrhythmias
• EPIC charting experience

• First-time travelers accepted
• Experience with continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration
• Triage experience

• Locals Accepted – Same Pay for Locals
• Aya Offer if clinical “Pass”
• RTO must be submitted at time of submittal
  • No additional RTO will be approved after submission
  • RTO Blocked: 3/27 – 4/12
• Modules are NOT billable – please margin for 5 hours

• Level I Trauma experience confirmed
• Agreement to weekend requirements
• Acknowledgment of high patient ratios
• Confirmation of all required certifications (TNCC, ACLS, BCLS, PALS, NIH)
