Job Details:

• Level I trauma center emergency department position with high patient ratios (1:5-6, potentially up to 1:8 during busy periods)

• Work 3 weekends (Fri-Sun) per 4-week schedule

• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving OR Day After, Christmas Eve OR Christmas Day, New Year's Eve OR New Year's Day)

• Floating to Pediatric ED when necessary

• No on-call responsibilities

• 36 hours of orientation required

• 2 years minimum experience required with Level I trauma experience mandatory

• Required certifications:
State license, ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC, NIH

• ENPC preferred

• EPIC charting experience required

• Must have experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

• Travel experience required

• Care for patients of all ages including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Daily census of 250 patients with 100 beds

• RTO must be submitted at time of submittal with 5-day maximum per contract

• RTO blocked,,

• Non-billable modules must be completed pre-start (approximately 5 hours)

• Michigan license must be active by start date (compact license not accepted)
