Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

• 3 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted

• On-call required: 1 week at a time rotating with other CVT nurses (currently every 6 weeks)

• Weekend call coverage required

• Float to other specialties when no CVT cases available

• Work in CVOR, General OR, Hybrid OR, and Trauma settings

• 1:1 patient ratio for all shifts

• 72 hours of orientation provided

• Required certifications: BLS (AHA preferred)

• Michigan RN license required (must be active by start date, compact license not accepted)

• EPIC experience preferred with training completed during orientation

• Experience with cardiovascular, general surgery, trauma, and endoscopic procedures

• Handle complex surgical cases including CABG, valve replacements, thoracotomies, and trauma cases

• Work with specialized equipment including cell saver, electrosurgical units, and Da Vinci Xi Surgical System

• 20-room/20-bed unit serving adult patient population
