Job Details:

• Will be assigned in behavioral health most of the time

• Work 3 weekends (Fri-Sun) per 4 week schedule - might be scheduled to work 1 day of the weekend, 2 days or all 3 days

• No on-call responsibilities

• Floating required to Peds ED if necessary

• Patient ratios:
Days 1:5-6, Nights 1:6, could be up to 8 depending on patient volume and holidays

• Work in Level 1 Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center and Pediatric Emergency Department

• Daily census of 250 patients with 100 beds

• Required certifications:
State license, ACLS, BCLS by AHA, PALS, TNCC, NIH

• ENPC preferred

• 2 year minimum experience required

• Level I trauma experience required

• EPIC charting experience required

• Travel experience required

• Must complete interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

• Continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration experience preferred

• Triage experience preferred

• Care for patients of all ages: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics

• 36 hours of orientation required

• Must complete non-billable modules pre-start (5 hours should be margined)

• Michigan license must be active by start date (compact license not accepted)

• All certifications may NOT pend beyond contract start

• 5 day maximum RTO policy per contract - must be submitted at time of submission

This healthcare facility operates as a comprehensive Level 1 Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center and Pediatric Emergency Department. The facility maintains high patient volumes with a daily census of 250 patients and features 100 beds. The emergency department provides interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services.
