Job Summary

Open Arms Link, a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit licensed by Michigan Department of Human Services Bureau of Children and Adult Licensing, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Group Home Manager to lead our team of dedicated professionals. As a Home Health Provider, we are contracted with Department of Community Mental Health (Clinton, Eaton and Ingham) and Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.

Lansing, MI

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the group home, ensuring provision of high-quality care and services to residents
  • Train, and supervise staff, including direct care staff, medication aides, and other support staff
  • Train on individualized service plans for residents, in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers, social workers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Manage organizational resources, including budget, supplies, and facilities maintenance
  • Conduct staff evaluations, provide coaching and feedback, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and policies, including those related to licensing and certification
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and community partners
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience preferred, with a strong willingness to learn and grow
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
