Job Details:

• Work in Level 1 Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Heart Center and Pediatric Emergency Department

• Patient ratios range from 1:5-6, potentially up to 1:8 depending on patient volume and holidays

• Weekend requirement: 3 weekends (Friday-Sunday) per 4 week schedule

• Floating required to Pediatric ED if necessary

• No on-call responsibilities

• 36-hour orientation required

• Care for patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Daily census of 250 patients with 100 beds

• Required certifications:
State license, ACLS, BCLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC, NIH

• Preferred certification: ENPC

• Level 1 trauma experience required

• Minimum 2 years experience required

• EPIC charting experience required

• Must complete non-billable module education (approximately 5 hours) before working

• Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required

• Continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration experience preferred

• Michigan license must be active by start date (compact license not accepted)

• Maximum 5-day RTO policy per contract
