- Conduct casework and serve as a staff witness for renewable energy and energy storage facility siting applications
- Analyze evidence submitted by siting applicants to ensure compliance with laws and guidelines
- Support attorneys in preparing briefs and responses related to siting issues
- Represent the Commission in meetings with public stakeholders and coordinate with external contractors
- Monitor compliance of facility siting applicants with Commission orders and provide necessary reports
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major
- Minimum of one year of professional experience for Departmental Analyst 10 level
- Minimum of two years of professional experience, including one year at the intermediate level for Departmental Analyst P11 level
- Minimum of three years of professional experience, including one year at the experienced level for Departmental Analyst 12 level
- Experience in a related field may be substituted with military service at or above the E-6 level
- Experience in regulatory affairs or renewable energy sector
- Strong technical writing skills, particularly in legal or compliance contexts
- Familiarity with Michigan Public Service Commission processes and regulations
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in team settings on complex projects
- Previous experience in public engagement or stakeholder communication
