Position: Financial Analyst

Hourly Rate: $35.59/hr. ($64,770.96 annually) to $39.15/hr. ($71,249.76 annually)
The Financial Analyst position is responsible for gathering data to analyze operational conditions, performance trends, processes, and to analyze and compile data to support organization needs, organize data into accessible reports and perform various types of analysis using key metrics.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Analyze financial data and provide forecasting support.
- Prepare reports and projections based on financial data.
- Evaluate current and previous financial data.
- Study organizational data trends.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions by accurately entering data into accounting software.
- Process per capita tax revenue and payments.
- File and retrieve confidential documents, records, and prepare reports as needed.
- Preparation of journal entries.
- Reconcile general ledger and bank accounts.
- Develop spreadsheets and record-keeping methods.
- Assist with audits and month-end and year-end closing.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree required in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or statistics.
- Must have 2-3 years with financial analysis knowledge, of and experience in articulating the principles, standards, and processes related to finance, ranging from basic fundamentals to advanced expertise.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications with advanced spreadsheet skills.
- Sage Intacct Experience
- Experience collecting, analyzing, and compiling financial information in a report.
- Knowledge of methods to analyze business needs and recommend relevant solutions including policy, process, or system improvements.
- Analytical skills processing large amounts of information.
- Effective organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to confidentiality and discretion.

- Must be able to work at a desk/computer for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on computer and/or related office equipment.
- Position requires continual mental concentration and specific attention to detail.
- May be required to reach, bend, stoop, and handle objects with hands and/or fingers, talking and/or hearing, and seeing.
- Position requires light to moderate work with 20 (twenty) pounds maximum weight to lift and carry.
