Quality Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the automotive manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Quality Engineer 4 to join their team. As a Quality Engineer 4, you will be an integral part of the Production/Operations department, supporting cross‑functional teams in ensuring the highest standards of dimensional and mechanical quality.

Quality Engineer (Dimensional and Mechanical Engineering)

$40 - $45 per hour

• Execute dimensional analysis, validation, and optimization activities for body structures and components.
• Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to influence product design and ensure robust dimensional performance.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to identify and resolve dimensional issues.
• Utilize Process Engineering methodologies to develop and implement dimensional control plans and strategies.
• Conduct Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) specifically related to dimensional deviations and implement corrective actions.

• Bachelor’s degree in a manufacturing‑related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in automotive body dimensional engineering or a related field.
• Excellent people management and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Minimum of 4–5 years of dimensional engineering experience.
