Operations Manager, Occupational Health & Safety
This position is based in Okinawa, Japan. The role requires relocation to Okinawa for the duration of the project. Candidates currently residing in Japan will be given preference.

Minimum 10 years of construction HSE experience.
Strong knowledge of local HSE legislation and best practices.
OSHA or equivalent certification required.
KeyResponsibilities
Develop and implement the Project HSE Plan in alignment with company and client standards.
Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and toolbox talks regularly.
Ensure compliance with local authority and client safety requirements.
Supervise site safety officers and monitor daily site activities for hazards.
Lead incident investigations and prepare reports with corrective actions.
Coordinate safety training programs for all staff and subcontractors.
Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and records as per ISO or client requirements.
Promote continuous improvement in safety performance through awareness and engagement.
