Job Description
The Department of Music invites applications for a position as Lecturer in Applied Voice, beginning in September 2023. Potential responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate applied voice, Diction for Singers, Song Repertoire, and Opera Workshop.
Successful candidates will have had college-level teaching experience and a proven record of success in teaching a wide range of classical, CCM, and musical theatre styles. In addition, the candidate will have had an active performing career and demonstrate potential for continued success as a performer.
This posting is to create a pool of interested applicants from which the Department may draw as sections become open at any point in the academic year. This posting may or may not result in the hiring of an applicant. Pre-employment screening includes verification of academic credentials and background check.
Minimum QualificationsMaster’s degree, professional experience as a performer, university teaching experience.
