Position Summary
Greater Lansing Youth for Christ // Campus Life Director
Campus Life ministry combines healthy relationships with creative programs to help young people make good choices, establish a solid foundation for life, and positively impact their schools. Like every ministry of Youth for Christ, Campus Life seeks to engage these young people wherever they are found and help them become lifelong followers of Jesus Christ.
Youth for Christ’s Campus Life Director will build and lead student leader and adult leader teams, equipping a relational army to engage in authentic, Christ-sharing relationships with students in the community. In order to reach this goal, Campus Life utilizes a team of volunteers, who, under the direction of the Youth For Christ/Campus Life staff, create programming welcoming to students from all walks of life.
Typical weekly ministry duties include a mix of these Relationship Ministry Actions (RMA’s):
We seek a strong leader who can connect with students, parents, school administrators, business leaders, and churches. The candidate must be a self-starter with a passion for discipleship evangelism and wants to be part of an excellent growing team of youth ministry professionals. All staff will be trained and assisted in personal financial support raising. A competitive salary (commensurate with experience) and benefits (vacation, health, and retirement) package are offered.
Depending on the hours of the position, a set amount of RMAs will be required. A full-time ministry position involves 10 hours of RMA’s per week.
