Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult & Pediatric
Setting: Hospital Emergency Department
Responsibilities: Provide emergency medical care; evaluate, diagnose, and treat ED patients; supervise APPs and residents as required
Required Procedures: Emergency Medicine procedures including airway management, central and arterial lines, suturing, fracture care, I&Ds, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, and other ED-related procedures
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: Full nursing staff, 12 hours of APP coverage daily
Days Per Month: PRN / Float Pool
On-Call/Weekends: No on-call; weekend shifts included
Submission Requirements:
Board Certified ABEM or AOBEM (No BE) Required
Active Michigan Medical License (IMLC not accepted) Required
BLS Required
Local Provider Required
