Required Skills:

Valid and unrestricted medical license in Michigan Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine Proven experience in emergency care settings, handling adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients Proficiency in procedures including airway management, EKG interpretation, lumbar puncture, and various emergency procedures Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to adapt quickly to different clinical environments and workflows Nice to Have

Skills:

Experience supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APP) and residents Prior work in Level III Trauma Centers Familiarity with Cerner EHR system Additional certifications such as ATLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS Preferred

Education and Experience:

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution At least 2 years of emergency medicine experience in a similar setting Previous locum or temporary ER work is advantageous Other Requirements:
Flexible availability for varied shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends Must clock in/out using Doc Time; compliance with all scheduling protocols Travel, licensure, certification, and other reimbursements covered as applicable Malpractice insurance included in rates Orientation provided at half the hourly rate This is a superb opportunity to showcase your expertise in Emergency Medicine while enjoying the flexibility of locum assignments.
