Calling all aspiring storytellers! WSYM is searching for an energetic MMJ Intern to join our team of Neighborhood Reporters. At FOX 47, Interns are the real deal! You'll dive headfirst into the evolving world of local news and get a chance to make a real impact as a working MMJ. You'll be expected to pitch stories, gather interviews and footage, and bring that story to life across all our platforms.
We're looking for self‑starters with a knack for creative problem‑solving, a passion for compelling journalism, and the skills to back it up.
Gain industry and organizational knowledge through daily job assignments.
Key Activities- Gain exposure to the industry
- Perform assigned duties as relating to the internship
- Develop skills based on the area supporting
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Internships are intended to be positions that are for a limited duration.
- Strong desire to learn more about the industry
- Ability to work with a team
- Ability to follow directions
- Normal work environment
