The Michigan Chamber of Commerce is seeking a highly organized individual to help power our leadership operations and execute high-quality meetings and events.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves logistics, project coordination, and making things run smoothly behind the scenes. If you’re the person who naturally keeps group projects on track, we want to meet you.
What You’ll Do Leadership Team Support- Coordinate calendars, meetings, and appointments
- Support the five-person leadership team
- Process expense reports and maintain digital files
- Maintain accurate operational expense records
- Support reporting in partnership with finance
- Coordinate board meetings, staff functions, and special meetings
- Manage invitations, materials, registrations, and follow-up
- Proofread and format presentations and internal documents
- Support process documentation and workflow improvements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred OR Associate degree with relevant work experience
- Experience in government, communications, business, or associations is a plus
- Strong workflow organization and time management
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with legislators, members, and partners
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Solid problem-solving and reasoning skills
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Teams)
- Comfort and basic proficiency with spreadsheets and data tracking
- Bonus:
Canva and Copilot experience
