We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take your career to the next level in a fast-paced, progressive company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a range of financial processes and systems, ensuring that our financial operations are accurate, efficient, and in compliance with legal guidelines.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a strong understanding of all aspects of accounting, including the use of Sage 100. This is a permanent position with excellent benefits.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements, ensuring the implementation of company accounting standards.
2. Manage the preparation and submission of quarterly and annual tax filings.
3. Maintain the integrity of accounting records by ensuring that staff adhere to financial policies and procedures.
4. Assist with the development and implementation of new financial systems and controls to improve efficiency.
5. Conduct regular ledger maintenance and reconciliation activities.
6. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable departments.
7. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
8. Interact with various department heads on financial matters and provide insightful information to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
9. Review company financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs.
10. Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accountant
3. Proficiency in using financial software and advanced knowledge of Sage 100.
4. Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
5. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
6. Strong knowledge of business tax laws and GAAP regulations.
7. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
9. Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
10. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
