We're seeking an experienced Corrections LPN for an immediate opening in Lansing, Kansas.
This role offers steady hours, a consistent weekly schedule, and a focused assignment within the medication room.
Position Details
- ASAP start
- 32 hours per week
- 8-hour shifts
- Schedule: 1:00pm-10:00pm, working Fri, Sat, Sun & Mon every week
- Setting: Medication room only
- Assisting with managing and performing pill passes
- Includes pill window and cell-to-cell medication delivery
- Experience required: Minimum 1 year of corrections experience
Local LPN
- $43/hour
- $1,728/week (Must reside 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay)
The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse works in close andimmediate contact with adults and children in custody on a daily basisproviding general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory section of the Corrections Facility while maintaining facility security standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state
- Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
