The Resin Operator converts raw materials into finished polymeric materials via industrial equipment, including pressure reactors, distributed control system (DCS), pumps, flow meters, condensers, and various sensors. The Resin Operator performs in-process and finished quality testing of raw materials and products using analytical lab equipment, including balances, ovens, titrators, gas chromatographs, viscometers and microscopes. Position requires flexible work schedule, including overtime and weekend hours.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs production functions in accordance with NPAA standards, procedures, and specifications.
Loads raw materials and operates batch processes using control systems (flow, pressure, temperature), making adjustments as needed.
Follows all quality and safety standards, including required PPE and lab testing to ensure product compliance.
Meets production schedules and notifies supervisors of issues or deviations.
Completes production documentation, inventory transactions (SAP), and related reports accurately.
Maintains clean, organized work areas and properly handles, labels, and stores waste per NPAA procedures.
Communicates effectively in a team-based environment and supports additional duties, special projects, and safety team participation as assigned
POSITIONQUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Technician certification (or equivalent) preferred
- Fork Truck Certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of chemical manufacturing experience
- Experience with polymer or reaction chemistry preferred
- HAZMAT training (HAZWOPER, etc.) or related experience preferred
$22.82 to $34.76 hourly . Compensation for this role is negotiable based on experience and skill set.
