Job Description
Our Research Scientists are our Inventors. We identify and target steps in disease mechanisms or pathways that could be inhibited or enhanced. Our goal is to isolate a compound that is effective against a disease target. Using innovative thinking, state-of-the-art facilities and robust scientific methodology we collaborate to discover the next medical breakthrough.
The Pathology group within Nonclinical Drug Safety (NDS) and our Research & Development Division works with multiple departments to determine the toxicity profile for test compounds intended for human or animal health applications. Our group is seeking a highly motivated individual with strong technical skills and attention to detail to contribute to well-defined studies and complex research projects.
Specific Responsibilities- Perform necropsies and record findings.
- Utilize histochemical procedures for the preparation of microscopic slides.
- Carry out assigned tasks and apply sound basic laboratory skills that include recording, evaluation, and assessment of data.
- Learn new software applications and record datasets digitally in information management systems.
- Follow well‑established Standard Operating Procedures and Good Laboratory Practices.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
- Comply with all local, state and federal laws for conducting in‑vivo research.
- Communicate and interact with other team members.
BA/BS in Animal Science, Biology, or a related discipline
Required Skills- 1+ Year laboratory experience (Pharma/Biotech or Academia)

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office‑based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on‑site per week, Monday – Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote‑working day, unless business‑critical tasks require an on‑site presence.
This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in‑person attendance is required for, field‑based positions; facility‑based, manufacturing‑based, or research‑based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely.

Salary RangeThe salary range for this role is
$71,900.00 – $
