Shifts:

Day hours, EOW; 1 night a week (11pm-7am).

Acts is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Life Enrichment Assistant in our skilled nursing neighborhood. In this role, you will assist the Life Enrichment Coordinator in planning and implementing programs and events providing residents an Acts Signature Experience (ASE) incorporating wellness, person-centered living, and hospitality. These ASE events will encompass body, mind, and spirit components to improve and maintain quality of life.

The programs are informed by Montessori principles of resident empowerment and engagement and are based on personal history and preferences as expressed in the residents’ My Story.

In this role, you will:

• Assist the Life Enrichment Coordinator in planning and implementing programs and events for residents.
• Provide activities that support wellness, person-centered living, and hospitality.
• Ensure residents with differing cognitive and functional levels have opportunities for meaningful engagement.
• Utilize Montessori principles and resident histories to tailor activities.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of activities/recreation experience
• Dementia engagement certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment)
• Current or eligible for certification in CPR

$15.58 - $18.14 / hour. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
