Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications and experience in mammographic imaging.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital-based mammography unit
- Day shift schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
- No weekends, floating, or on-call required
- Perform all types of mammography exams and imaging procedures
- Patient population primarily includes women requiring diagnostic and screening studies
- Utilizes EPIC for charting
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- Scrub color requirement is pewter
- No holiday coverage required
- Requests for time off must be submitted in advance and are not accepted after submission
- All candidates must complete labs within 48 hours of offer acceptance
- Candidates within a 50-mile radius are considered local and will be paid at a local rate
- Current BLS, ARRT (R), and ARRT (M) certifications required
- Valid state license or certification required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of mammographic imaging techniques and breast disease detection
- Ability to produce high-quality mammography images for diagnosis and early detection
- Compliance with PA state fingerprinting and required background checks
- Completion of orientation modules as assigned
