Automotive Alignment Technicians

Overview

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis at a service center in the Harleysville, PA area. Mavis operates over 2,000 retail locations and is a leading tire sales and automotive repair chain in the United States.

• Use the latest equipment to align newly mounted tires and wheels, measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight and true.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, flat repairs, and perform other required automotive service or vehicle repairs.
• Follow workplace safety and quality standards and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires, or equivalent education/training.
• Preferred: a state inspection license.

Physical requirements:

May stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repetitive movements related to vehicle and tire maintenance; regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
