Sr. Accountant

Description

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Accountant to join our client's team in the Lansdale Pennsylvania area. In this permanent, onsite role, you will play a vital part in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and delivering accurate reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, detail-oriented individual with construction accounting expertise to contribute to a rapidly growing organization.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee month-end close processes and generate timely, accurate financial statements in collaboration with leadership.

- Compile and present key performance indicator reports to support strategic decision-making.

- Manage bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting to align with company goals.

- Supervise coordination with bookkeeping staff to ensure seamless handling of payables and receivables.

- Prepare and process journal entries to maintain accurate ledger accounts.

- Provide support to cross-functional teams and perform additional duties as needed.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

- At least 3 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in construction accounting with project cost tracking expertise.

- Strong proficiency in Excel and Quick Books.

- Familiarity with construction-related accounting practices such as AIA billing and cost-to-cost adjustments.

- Experience with Net Suite is a plus.

- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with team members.
