Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for cleanliness and organization. As a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all floors within our facilities are clean, sanitary, and well-maintained.

Shift Hours

Monday - Friday, 5:00pm - 9:00pm

Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors on a regular basis.
  • Strip, seal, wax, and buff floors as needed.
  • Clean and maintain floor surfaces, including tile, carpet, hardwood, and laminate.
  • Remove stains and spills promptly.
  • Operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment, such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners.
  • Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment when handling cleaning chemicals.
  • Inspect floors for damage and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Assist with other cleaning tasks as needed, including restrooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Floor Technician or in a similar role preferred.
  • Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, such as furniture and equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
