Roaming Windows 10 Field Client Support

* Field Support Technician (Roaming - Northeast DC / South Baltimore Region)
* We're seeking a dependable and self motivated
* Field Support Technician
* to provide onsite technical support across multiple locations in the Northeast DC and South Baltimore areas. This is a roaming role that requires flexibility, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently without daily supervision.

* Location & Travel
* * Ideal home base:
* Silver Spring, MD
* * Regular travel across:
* Silver Spring, Lanham, Mitchellville, Laurel, and South Baltimore
* * Must have a
* reliable personal vehicle

* * Mileage reimbursed
* for sitetosite travel

* Technicians must be punctual and dependable; attendance is monitored via
* badge access
* *
* * Schedule
*
* * Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
*
* * Oncall rotation:
* 1 week at a time

* Occasional extended evenings until approximately
* 8:00 PM*, depending on business needs

* Start times may shift based on daily requirements

* Flexibility is essential, as assignments may change to meet demand

* Key Responsibilities
* * Respond to and resolve
* software break/fix incidents
* * Perform
* IMACs* (Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes), including software installations and machine upgrades

* Support
* device refresh
* activities

* Provide handson support for a wide range of peripherals:

* Document and

* Barcode scanners

* Credit card readers

* Label printers

* Signature pads

* Dragon dictation microphones

* RFID readers

* Assist users at
* tech walkup bars
* in staffed locations

* Utilize
* Service Now* for ticketing (preferred but not required)

* Use
* Log Me In * for remote support when applicable

* Required Skills & Experience
* * Experience with
* Windows 10
* and
* Microsoft Office
* * Basic knowledge of
* Active Directory
* * Strong deskside support

* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

* Experience in a
* hospital or clinical environment
* is a plus

* Job Type & Location
* This is a Contract position based out of Lanham, MD.

* Pay and Benefits
* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
