Digital SAT In-Person Class Instructor

Overview

Novastar Prep is seeking an experienced Digital SAT instructor to teach in-person SAT preparation classes in Lanham, MD. This position is for educators who are already fluent in the Digital SAT format and can lead a structured classroom with confidence from day one.

• Teach Digital SAT Reading, Writing & Language, and Math with emphasis on test strategy, pacing, question analysis, and score improvement.
• Deliver classroom-based instruction; this is not general homework-help or entry-level tutoring.

• Prior experience teaching or tutoring the SAT.
• Demonstrated familiarity with the Digital SAT platform and adaptive test structure.
• Ability to clearly explain test strategies to groups of students.
• Strong classroom management skills and professional communication.
• Bachelor’s degree (required).
• Minimum of 1 year of SAT teaching or tutoring experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of the Digital SAT format and question types.
• Ability to teach in person in Lanham, MD.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to commit to at least one academic semester.
• Basic comfort using digital teaching tools.
• Ability to pass a background check.

• $45-$55 per hour for in-person instruction (DOE).
• Bi-weekly direct deposit.
• Curriculum and instructional materials provided.
• Administrative, advising, and scheduling support.
