Overview

Clinical Pharmacist – Langley Memorial Hospital – Part‑time (18‑month contract) with Fraser Health Authority. This role utilizes clinical pharmacy expertise to advance patient medication therapy within a collaborative hospital environment.

Hourly rate: CAD $51.37 – $64.19 (part‑time hours). Competitive benefits package is available.

• Individualized patient medication therapy and counselling.
• Collaboration with physicians, nurses and other health providers to develop, implement and monitor therapeutic plans.
• Development of drug therapy guidelines for disease conditions and preparation of professional journal submissions.
• Participation in medication use evaluations, quality improvement initiatives and clinical drug trials.
• Mentorship and supervision of pharmacy students, residents and new staff.
• Prescription validation and dispensing accuracy, documentation of safety concerns and resolution of discrepancies.

• Current registration as a Pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
• Completion of an accredited Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).
• Broad knowledge of evidence‑based clinical pharmacy practice and medication use evaluation.
• Ability to communicate effectively, establish working relationships and operate related equipment.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
