Responsibilities:
As directed by Warehouse Manager, must ensure that trucks / trailers / containers are loaded and unloaded efficiently.Must also be fully familiar with all the packaging specifications and be able to ensure that working conditions and work habits are conducted in a safe manner.Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines.Must be able to understand the general operation of the warehouse requirements.Correctly placing finish goods on correct pallets and safely storing in warehouse.Ensure that all products are stored in an organized, efficient and safe manner.Arrange for repair of damaged packaging of product.To transfer finished goods to storage area and maintain production entry sheets.Receive, ship, store, and transfer material for use in manufacturing.Perform the related transactions for the stocking of material.Assist with broad range of warehouse tasks, utilizing forklifts, pallet movers, dollies and carts. Transport materials to and from production and warehouse areas.Other duties as required, assigned by the Department Manager.Requirements:
Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.Must be a licensed qualified experienced forklift operator with a Minimum two years related experience and or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.Must be prepared to work in a co-operative environment.Must be willing and physically able to fulfill the job requirement.Must have basic computer knowledge.Must be able to work in high pace environment.Pay:
The range for this position is $20.48 – 34.64 per hour. Exact salary offered will depend on candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and work location.
