Job Description & How to Apply Below

Taiga Building Products is seeking a full-time Forklift Operator to join our Envirofor BC branch. The Forklift Operator is responsible for ensuring that the station they are working at has an efficient flow of goods, both inbound and outbound, to help maximize the production of that station. Constant communication with the office staff is required to be proactive on what’s up next, what critical items are needed, and to advise them of any issues that may arise.

The operator reliably scans the movement of goods to their correct location when moving stock in the yard so that WMS is up to date with the correct real-time information. Depending on the station worked at, there may be supervisory responsibilities as well, which include, but are not limited to, assigning daily tasks and ensuring that supervised employees are working safely and effectively on their assignments.

The operator also needs to participate in the ongoing group task of keeping the product in the yard organized.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Production Planner and/or the Shipper/Receiver to ensure smooth operations and effective task coordination.
