Job Description
What is the opportunity?A member of RBC Phillips, Hager & North Investment Counsel, the Associate Investment Counsellor (AIC) works with experienced Investment Counsellors (IC) to construct customized investment strategies for high-net-worth (HNW) individuals, trusts, and charitable foundations.
The AIC is responsible for assisting ICs in implementing the strategy and managing and monitoring the client portfolios on an ongoing basis. Under the mentorship of an IC, the AIC must exhibit client acquisition skills and the ability to actively close HNW target prospects.
The ultimate purpose of this role is for the AIC to develop the necessary skills to transition to the role of IC over a two-year period.

The expected base salary range for this position is $62,000 - $110,000 -- depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
You have the potential to earn considerably more through RBC’s robust discretionary bonus program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
